The trouble for Dudley Hiibel started in the year 2000, it was the 21st of May, he was standing outside of his truck, having a smoke.
It was sorta indirectly trouble as well, for the rambunctious Texas police who didn't expect a civil rights debate after he went to jail and then latter took his case to the Supreme Court.
The sad outcome was decide by that High Court which said:
"IDs Can Be Required in Police Stops" 6-22-04

They were "not concerned one bit with the Lady's safety
Nor "conducted an investigation" to see if she was OK!
Thats what they told Dudley they were doing.....
